Bug Description

Ok so i will describe the steps utils the bug appears.

Created a new folder in nautilus and then right click and selected sharing options. Ubuntu warns me that i need to install additional services. Click ok and click install samba. I authenticate with my password and after samba installation a new window appears to install libpam-smbpass. This window greys out and i am not able to click on the install button to complete the create share process.

Have to close this greyed out window and install the component from the terminal.

I can confirm this. The way it works is terrible, because the shared folder will appear on the network just fine, but then when you try to open it, it just fails without permissions.

Speaking of which, since now we have some breathing room on the DVD, what about including samba and libpam in the CD? I know it's not a very common use case, but they are really tiny packages and they would make life easier for people (not having to type a password, not having to restart the session etc.).
