Bug Description

Ubuntu oneiric.

The system is completely updated.

This is the message I've got every time I open a folder:

This is a serious bug because now ubuntu can not be used.

Could you please install the libgtk, libglib and nautilus dbgsym packages and get a new backtrace? the one you submitted is missing a few symbols , if you have any questions please don't hesitate in asking, thanks in advance!.

Hi, I'm affected by the same bug. Sorry for being a noob, but could you tell me what libs to install exactly and how to generate the gdb trace for nautilus so I can give you additional information ?

I get this almost every time nautilus starts, hence it immediately crashes.

dmesg output:

I would suggest that this is a critical issue if users can't access their desktop/files without opening a terminal.

I've installed the packages and I've attached a new bactrace log such as Pedro Villavicencio suggest me.

I agree with Kevin.

This bug is critical: ubuntu is unusable.

By purging the package nautilus-open-terminal, the issue got solved.
