Bug Description

Binary package hint: nautilus-actions

Resubmitted bug #560490, as suggested by Sebastien Bacher.

Binary package hint: nautilus

After clicking the desktop background (to make the desktop gain focus), whenever I press the left/right/up/down keys, nautilus restarts ---i.e., all instances/windows of nautilus close, the desktop icons dissapear and then reappear after a while.

I'm using Lucid (fresh install from the beta2 CD image, no upgrade), on a 64-bit machine.

Sorry, I wasn't subscribed to this bug (it seems that launchpad doesn't like me).

The nautilus -actions package from oneiric doesn't work with Nautilus 3.x. I cannot even start the config tool. For other extensions not yet updated to work with Nautilus 3.x (e.g., nautilus-gksu and nautilus-filename-repairer), a simple symlink from /usr/lib/nautilus/extensions-2/0 to /usr/extensions-3.0 suffices, but that doesn't seem to work with nautilus-actions.

Hi,
I am the maintainer of Nautilus-Actions. I suggest to mark this bug as obsolete : since it has been opened, more than twenty versions has been released...
Of course, I am always willing to work and (hopefully) fix Nautilus-Actions bugs, but please on current ones :)
Regards
Pierre
