Copying data closes if I close root nautilus

Bug Description

1. the specific steps or actions I took that caused you to encounter the problem:
a.- Open Nautilus as root:
Alt+F2
gksudo nautilus
b.- Go to /home/$USER
c.- Copy any folder to clipboard
d.- Go to a other folder
e.- Paste folder from clipboard
f.- While copying data, I close nautilus
2. the behavior I expected
Nautilus is closed, but the copy of data continues.
3. the behavior I actually encountered
The copy of data also closes with nautilus
4. The package version of gnome-power-
5.- Ubuntu version: 8.04 update from 7.10
