Bug Description

Binary package hint: nailgun

Nailgun-Package installs the nailgun client as /usr/bin/ng-nailgun. On invocation it throws "java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: ng-nailgun". In the client's source in /nailgun-0.7.1/src/c/ it looks like the client takes the command name (argv[0]) as command to start if it is something other than "ng". Symlinking /usr/bin/ng-nailgun to "ng" and running this works.

Additional information:

1) $lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu 11.04
Release: 11.04

2) $ apt-cache policy nailgun
nailgun:
  Installed: 0.7.1-3
  Candidate: 0.7.1-3
  Version table:
 *** 0.7.1-3 0
        500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ natty/universe i386 Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
3) ng-client connects with ng-server.
4) ng-client does not connect with ng-server.

This bug was fixed in the package nailgun - 0.9.0+trunk95-1

---------------
nailgun (0.9.0+trunk95-1) unstable; urgency=medium

  * Bump up version number since it produces jar files with version as
0.9.0. Nothing changed in upstream source.
  * set "urgency=medium" to introduce other packages' security fix to testing
    quickly.
  * debian/nailgun.links
    - fix wrong symlink, now it should be changed to 0.9.0
