Bug Description

Some of the mythtv packages are 0.18.1-5, some are 0.17-3.
The mythtv, mythtv-common, mythtv-database & mythtv-doc packages are all the higher version, while mythtv-frontend & mythtv-backend, and most of the plugins are lower versions. Furthermore, mythtv-frontend (and many of the plugins) depend on libqt3c102-mt (>=3:3.3.3) - should this be libqt3-mt?

Some of this is probably due to bug #2286.

Hi,
will this issue be resolved or will it be sat out until Dapper is released?

I just tried to install mythtv, and succeeded without problem. I installed it in a plain chroot and did not really test it, so please keep on reporting bugs on sight. :)

OK, but that was not the question.
I just want to install it in a pure amd64 environment which obviously doesn't work. To install an extra chroot just to watch TV is a bummer, especially when the packages seem to exist for the amd64 environment.
So this should be resolved anyway...

err, it IS installable in amd64 for me. But only in dapper, and we don't have the ressources to fix this in breezy. sorry.

OK.
So I'll wait for the Dapper final release.
