Bug Description
Uninstalled mythtv a few days ago. Today the computer has been failing in its display shortly after each boot.
Usually the problem has been within apport, and attempts to report it lead to further display problems.
It still wants to run mythtv, I guess, and therefore tries to install it.
So I don't know whether the compositor is responsible, the package removal system, or what.
Known problems:
-- uninstall script
-- mythtv not removed from startup applications.
