This error also effect me.

Doing a Google search there seems to be a lot of people with the same problem, much more than just the 3 listed here.

I have not been able to find a solution to fix the problem.

Myth works except Commercial detection and removal which is why I wanted to use Myth in the first place.

I am new to Linux, and I installed Mythbuntu about 6 months ago and received this error, during the install and also each time I try to run various processes like updating.

I even tried re-downloading and starting from scratch, but received the same error.

The System is running on a HP NL-40 microserver which is AMD based.

I get errors like this in the current logs:

This bug has been with with us a long time now....

mkdir: missing operand

Please update us on status.

Still getting this error on any Software update.

I tried 'apt-get install mythexport' to see if I could reload the package but still got the same error.....
"mkdir: missing operand
Try 'mkdir --help' for more information."

I have attached a copy of my terminal log FYI.
I doubt that anyone will be bothered to fix this now as a new LTR of Ubuntu and Mythbuntu is due out this year????

Not very impressed
