Icon line in .desktop file doesn't display correct icon

Bug Description
The .desktop file for Gnucash 1.8.9-4ubuntu1 will only display a generic icon in Applications>
The .desktop icon line is:
Icon=gnucash/
When I edit the gnucash.desktop file and change the icon line to:
Icon=/usr/
the correct Gnucash i...

When I edit the gnucash.desktop file and change the icon line to:
Icon=/usr/
the correct Gnucash icon is then displayed.
