When I run the command: "sudo apt-get purge mysql" it gives me this error: "dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'sudo dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem." I then ran "sudo dpkg --configure -a". it gave me this: "dpkg: error processing mysql-server-5.1 (--configure): Package is in a very bad inconsistent state - you should reinstall it before attempting configuration. Errors were encountered while processing: mysql-server-5.1" I tried reinstalling it, but it did not work either. I cannot remove it either. Please help. On Wed, Aug 25, 2010 at 5:16 PM, Serge Hallyn
