Hi,
thank you for your report and your help to make Ubuntu better.
I'm convinced this is a duplicate of bug 1670629 and will flag it like this.

In general we are reworking the upgrade handling - I'd be very pleased if you could help verify that once it is ready.

Until then given the reports we have seen so far simply retrying helps quite often.
