FYI - no reports upstream. No code changes in this function. No similar mariadb bug.

Hi,
while trying to clean up old bugs I've found this one. There never was enough insight to action on it - nor were there bugs similar enough to map and combine the information with this one here.
Also the upstream discussion (thanks Daniel btw!) did end up unresolved for a lack of information.

Right now without more data all I can do is marking this case incomplete as it isn't actionable as-is :-/
