It looks like incomplete cleanup of previous mysql variant packages is causing it to fail because /etc/mysql/ my.cnf. fallback is not present.
Could you try running «touch /etc/mysql/ my.cnf. fallback» then «apt-get -f install» and see if that clears up the problem?
