Bug Description
If nautilus is set to not show icons on the desktop, when you run "mutter --replace" in Ubuntu 9.10, the wallpaper is replaced by a solid white screen. Replacing mutter by metacity or compiz correctly reverts the wallpaper.

Also happens if using gnome-shell, the wallpaper is then replaced by a solid blue.
