Bug Description
Machine: Framework Laptop _12th Gen Intel Core_
OS: Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, fresh install
CPU: 12th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-1260P × 16
Kernel: Linux 6.9.1
GNOME version: 46
gnome-shell version: 46.0-0ubuntu5.1
When unplugging my USB-C dock with 2 external monitors attached (or an HDMI cable to a single monitor), gnome-shell crashes. I determined that it was gnome-shell based on the crash report produced in /var/crash.
My guess that it was a monitor issue and not a USB issue is that if I manually turn off the external monitor from Settings > Display, gnome-shell crashes as well.
