Bug Description

Hi All,

I recently upgraded to Ubuntu 18.04 (Bionic), which contains mutter 3.28 since some days.
Now there are 2 big issues with gnome-shell and mutter on Wayland.

One of the issues is that the gdm3 greeter is black when my second external screen is connected.
Now when I unplug the screen, I can see the greeter.

But the biggest issue is that when logged in with Wayland, of of the screens is completely black!
Sometimes its my external screen who stays black, sometimes the internal screen.

Its black, but cursor seems to work on it ... Bit related to #18 (closed)

Now when I look at the logs, I see the following error alot!
gnome-shell[4025]: Failed to set CRTC mode 1920x1080: Invalid argument
Or when the other screen works:
Failed to set CRTC mode 3840x2160: Invalid argument

Please let me know when you need additional (debug) logging. Cause this issue needs to get fixed :)

Thanks!
