Bug Description

Hi,

I updated my distro from 17.04 to 17.10 in the last week.
My 'budgie-desktop' is 10.4.

When I try to connect an HDMI to my computer for extended screen, my session is automatically locked.

When I try to login, it is looping on login screen and I can't access my session.

Once HDMI disconnected, I can login after two try, but my session is reset : all my opened apps are closed like when I turn on my computer.

If you need more information feel free to ask !

This sounds like a mutter issue.

Please retest when v3.26.2 migrates from proposed to release in the next few days

https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mutter

alternatively you can install the v3.26.2 version from proposed to test.

If it still doesnt work then please raise a bug-report with mutter

if that's still an issue then it would be useful to send it upstream to http://bugzilla.gnome.org (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/GNOME)
