Bug Description

Hi,

I'm using Ubuntu 12.04.2 and noticed that the monitoring tool Munin writes a large amount of warnings into /var/log/munin/munin-graph.log.

[PERL WARNING] Use of uninitialized value $only_fqn in concatenation (.) or string at /usr/share/perl5/Munin/Master/GraphOld.pm line 1361.

I'm currently using 1.4.6-3ubuntu3.3 of the package munin which contains this GraphOld.pm file.

I've debugged the file and confirm the missing initialization. I've compared the file with the 2.0 branch of Munin and backported the change. (see attached patch)

My logs are now clean. Please apply this patch to the next version of the package munin.

Thanks a lot and best regards :-)

The attachment "fix for the missing initialization - backported from munin 2.0 branch" seems to be a patch. If it isn't, please remove the "patch" flag from the attachment, remove the "patch" tag, and if you are a member of the ~ubuntu-reviewers, unsubscribe the team.

The recent update of Munin (Ubuntu Security Notice USN-2090-1, Munin 1.4.6-3ubuntu3.4) still has this issue, so the patch had to be applied manually (again).
