I think I have this same bug, but way worse than how it's described here. The actual speed of the memory increase for me is really fast. The memory usage for mumble goes up by ~1% every 10 seconds. I have 8 gigs of RAM so the actual increase is about ~800 MB over that time span. This is connected to a server with a few people talking.

I've tried changing around all sorts of settings with no luck at getting it to stop yet. The only thing I've found that helps is that after I click "Apply" or "OK" on the settings page it goes back to ~1.5% memory usage and starts climbing again from there. So whatever happens after clicking those buttons is cleaning up that memory, and I can do that periodically to keep it from locking up my entire machine. If I let it keep going eventually my whole computer freezes up until mumble crashes entirely and other stuff can start working again.

If anyone has any troubleshooting they'd like me to do just let me know.
