Also fixing kpartx-boot, new initramfs test, systemd socket/service handling. All WIP.

I'm considering removing the kpartx-boot split. This will take a bit of testing to be thorough to account for no regressions.

If multipath-tools failing in -proposed is blocking your package please contact me and I can expedite the testing to get this package through without that change.

Right now I'm working on getting access to testflinger systems to confirm that it is indeed okay to remove kpartx-boot binary package splitting.

Debian has a new version - 0.9.8-1 so I will also update to the new version.

Attached an MP, still a work in progress, but passed all autopkgtest locally. Will kick off the autopkgtest against the PPA once it is published. I also plan to do some more testing with testflinger tomorrow, especially around the removal of kpartx-boot.

Apologies on delay here. Was out for a bit and then got sick.

While I was out, debian updated to version 0.9.9-1.

I will update my branch to the latest debian version as well, and do some testing once my package builds. If all goes green I'll submit the MP today for review.

My lvm2 merge needed for other packages, was bitten by this multipath-tools bug.
I tried to merge, and then I discovered that a merge was already done and waiting for review.
I compared with my changes, and looked really nice and good, with some minor changes (e.g. the kpartx-boot removal).

I sponsored it, thanks a lot!

Thanks Gianfranco! I made a LP bug[0] to track removing the delta for downgrading dmsetup once lvm2 migrates :)
