Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and trying to make Ubuntu better.

This is the reason why multipath-tools was not able to be installed:

Feb 12 20:20:41 ubuntu multipathd[72477]: DM multipath kernel driver not loaded

The dm-multipath kernel driver is not loaded. Is your system fully upgraded? I see you have linux kernel version 4.19.105-v8-28 which does not seem right for a system running Ubuntu 22.04.

The same issue was reported here:

https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux/issues/4886

But the Ubuntu linux kernel should have this module enabled by default.

So far this seem to me a local configuration issue and not a bug. If you believe I am wrong please comment to this bug with a more detailed information and we will revisit it.

Changed in multipath-tools (Ubuntu):
status: New → Incomplete

Is there anything I could do to fix the issue? Any suggestions?

Hi Jovan,

As Lucas suggested, please check if your system is up-to-date and if you have the latest Ubuntu supported kernel version for your system.
