As per https:/ /github. com/opensvc/ multipath- tools/issues/ 26#issuecomment -1073987528, upstream decided to not apply the patch to force weak symbols not to be resolved at link time.
Therefore, instead of carrying a patch, let's just keep compiling without the "-Bsymbolic- functions" flag to maintain the upstream desired behavior.
