mtpfs crashed with SIGABRT in __libc_message()

plugged in a Lenovo A1 tablet, running Android 4.04. Attempted to mount it. Terminal output follows:

Device no longer supports USB mass storage or PTP, MTP only. Will still connect to ADB. An attmpt to mount to a Fedora system resulted in time out. Will attach to Windows.
