Bug Description
Binary package hint: mtools
There is demand for a FAT12/FAT16/FAT32 "undelete" tool on linux. Mundelete looks like a good place to start:-

The code dates from 2002 and appears to require a couple of minor tweaks.
I have not contacted Bovino the developer but the "Develop" tab on sourceforge lists the code as GNU GPL.
Please consider adding this file recovery utility to mtools.
