Bug Description
Binary package hint: msttcorefonts
When doing an update, the download / install process appears to perform correctly, BUT, right at the end I get one of the following messages. It does not appear to be the same message every time, nor does it go from message to message in succession.
Message 1 - package msttcorefonts 2.5 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1
Message 2 - package ttf-mscorefonts
Message 3 - package ttf-mscorefonts
Message 4 - package ttf-mscorefonts
It has at times also generated other error messages, but unfortunately I have not kept copies of them
The error messages do not appear to be generated by a specific package, but appear to be more related to any package which uses "mscorefonts"
I get told that there has been an error and to click on the "details" button below for further information, but there is no "details" button below just a cancel button, (which is greyed out), and an active "OK" button. Clicking on "OK" closes the upgrade manager and returns me to the desktop.
I am using Ubuntu 9.10
