msttcorefonts fails to install due to cryptic error during "restricted extras" install

Bug Description
Binary package hint: msttcorefonts
This is a bug I can't describe well. When installing msttcorefonts as part of the "restricted extras (Ubuntu)" package, the installer comes up with a dialog instructing to install a certain package in order to get it to work. I've confirmed the package is installed - can anyone tell me where to get you guys some more info on this package issue so it can be fixed?

This bug no longer exists with the release of Gutsy, thus, I'll change it to "fix released."
