Playing a video is fine, but when you resize it may or may not continue to work. It continues to play, complains about a few dropped frames, but in various videos I've tried (mkv from two sources, mp4 from two sources), it will get "stuck" on a certain frame and flash (bright and then dim, back and forth), while the audio continues to play. Seems to be related to audio, since if the movie is muted, the bug doesn't appear to show, but if you turn the audio back up the bug shows up again.

Not sure if this is an issue with GNOME, mesa, or mpv itself, but I thought I'd report it in case it can be isolated and fixed. Doesn't appear to affect gnome-mpv or "Celluloid" which uses mpv as the backend.
