Bug Description
Binary package hint: mozilla-mplayer
Ubuntu Release: 8.04 (Hardy Heron)
When installing mozilla-mplayer, Firefox 3 is automatically selected and installed even though Firefox 2 is already installed. mozilla-mplayer should accept either as a dependancy (as mozilla-mplayer is compatible with both).

if our build works with ffox2 we should fix it ... further mplayer-plugin should be installed in /usr/lib/ xulrunner- addons/ plugins ... not sure if that is done atm
So the info we need is:
1. does the current mplayer plugin .so work with ffox 2 firefox- addons/ plugins or /usr/lib/ xulrunner- addons/ plugins
2. is it installed in /usr/lib/
