mplayer does not exit on end of file

Bug Description

the mplayer command-line utility does not exit when the playing of a movie reaches its end and leaves the window open with the last frame shown. this is qute annoying and makes playing multiple files useless. user is forced to press q or esc which exits the application and does not continue with the playlist.

I have been affected as many others, please fix. Forced to install mplayer instead mplayer2 where autoplay feature works.

I take that back. I should have said this is happening in mplayer under Xenial, not mplayer2.
