Bug Description

When I start to play a movie after resuming from susped state, the playback periodically halts for a second at least twice in a minute. This is strange, because playing the same movie with Totem or VLC is wors as expected. Rebooting the system solves this issue until the next suspending.
This problem also affects Ubuntu 11.04 (Natty Narwhal).

Steps to reproduce:
1; start to play a movie with mplayer
2; now exit the application
3; suspend the computer
4; resume from suspend
5; repeat step 1 again
