Bug Description
When trying to play a video file encoded with the Smacker video codec (and audio), MPlayer begins playback, and manages to output a few frames worth of video and a fraction of a second of audio before crashing. Console output in attachment named mplayer.stdout. I tried running gdb as per the instructions at http://
Playback works perfectly when I use a binary I compiled (with default options) from vanilla source from mplayerhq.hu, so I'm guessing the problem lies in the Ubuntu version..?
Perhaps relevant is that even though the console output suggests that ffmpeg is used for decoding, using ffmpeg directly to convert the Smacker video file to something more palatable works perfectly. This is the part that has me baffled.

Oh, and here's a sample video file. It is free to distribute, as far as I (and the mplayer team) can tell.
