Bug Description

Binary package hint: mplayer

mplayer sound is much more quieter than rythmobx sound
rythmbox sound is loud enough (OK at ~30% volume set by XF86AudioLowerVolume), mplayer sound is much more quieter (it sounds at the same volume level when I set 100% with XF86AudioRaiseVolume)
sound is fine in either case.
I'd better like mplayer volume to be OK at 30%

is it possible that mplayer internal sound setting starts at 50% instead of previous 100% (*/ keys in mplayer)? if so, that is the problem

what audio output module do you use?

mplayer is supposed to not change the preset volume.

As I raised the mplayer audio volume with * it seems now it is okay.
