Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-mplayer

gnome-mplayer: Installed: 0.9.4-1
Ubuntu 9.04

If You terminate the stream using pavucontrol gnome-mplayer hangs (not hangs you can still open drop-down menus
but you can not close the application or play any file. So I have to kill it. :(
In Totem when you terminate the stream, it stops playing and complain that you have killed the stream, and it do not hang.

Sorry, I' m a bit confused, "the problem also *works*" means you have the same problem with mplayer or means you have no problem with mplayer alone?

OK, than it is a problem with the mplayer version you are using. Can you try with the one from the official repo? I don't know what is different (I don't expect it to be different at all actually) but I don' t have this problem with that.
In any case, both versions are pretty old, and most probably still lack proper pulseaudio support.
