Binary package hint: mplayer
Description:
Mplayer subtitle delay does not work with embedded subtitles in movie formats like OGM.
But if I extract the subtitle from the movie (ie. with ogmdemux), and load it as a separate
file, the subtitle delay function works normally. This is true both for the 'x' and 'z' hotkeys
during movie playback, as for executing mplayer with the -subdelay option.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Play an OGM movie with embedded SRT subtitles
(MKV movies or other subtitle types should work as well, but have not been tested)
2. Press 'x' or 'z' to delay the subtitles.
3. Even if you delay by a significant number of seconds, nothing changes.
Expected behaviour:
By pressing these keys, the subtitles should be advanced or delayed accordingly.
Ubuntu Information:
Description: Ubuntu 8.04.1
Release: 8.04
Package Information:
Name: mplayer
Version: 2:1.0~rc2-0ubuntu13 |
