Bug Description
Binary package hint: mplayer-skins
I'm running Kubuntu 6.06.
I've noticed that if I install mplayer, it won't run unless launched from a terminal.
I've noticed that gmplayer always returns the following error and then exits right upon launch:
[skin] file ( /usr/share/
Skin not found (default).
The /usr/share/
After I've copied the contents of the "mini" skin to this directory, gmplayer started worling correctly.
Here are the package versions that I'm using:
$ dpkg -l | grep mplayer
ii kmplayer-base 0.9.1.99+
ii kmplayer-
ii mozilla-mplayer 3.17-1ubuntu1 MPlayer-Plugin for Mozilla
ii mplayer 0.99+1.
ii mplayer-586 0.99+1.
ii mplayer-skins 2-6 Skins for the Ubuntu mplayer Package
