Bug Description
Binary package hint: mpich2
I'm using ubuntu 9.10, and I just installed libmpich2-dev, when trying to build my code using "pkg-config --cflags --libs mpi-ch2-ch3", it complains about no exec_prefix defined on the .pc file.
This is true, I opened the .pc file myself and ${exec_prefix} is not being defined.
This should be easy to fix, probably just add /usr instead of ${exec_prefix} or add exec_prefix=/usr on the file :)

This has already been fixed in the MPICH2 trunk a while ago: trac.mcs. anl.gov/ projects/ mpich2/ changeset/ 5845/mpich2/ trunk
http://
But it looks like this hasn't been pushed to the stable 1.2.x series.
I'll back port it shortly. But you are welcome to pull the patch
directly as well.
