You wouldn't happen to have a tftp server installed would you? That's the one major service that runs on port 69, which is what mpd is claiming is taken.

Post the output of `aptitude search tftp` and I'll be able to find out. Also just to be sure, post the output of `netstat -ln | grep "tcp.*69"` so we can verify there is indeed something listening on that port and not another issue.
