Bug Description

This report generated by Apport automatically at startup. Actually, I was able to use mpd successfully with ncmpcpp before this report but now it refuses the connection.

I don't have any further information unfortunately.

You have modified /etc/default/mpd to not start mpd as a system service, so presumably it already runs from your user session and thus cannot be started again via initscript. But in that case it shouldn't be started in the first place...??
