Bug Description

Binary package hint: mozilla

this is one of those bugs thats a bit hard to describe. i first noticed it while organising my bookmarks in firefox. drag n drop was unreliable. it actually didnt work at all most of the time. in the end i had to use key commands ctrl-c and ctr-v to move the bookmarks around.

today i was organising my email in thunderbird (im using imap) and the same problem. however i do the drag n drop the item just flies back to where it was coming from (as normally happens when you drag to a place which cant be dragged to). since this has happened in both firefox and thunderbird im assuming it has something to do with with the mozilla toolkits (xptoolkit) but what do i know - im no programmer.

thanks.

Yeah, I'll confirm this. When I try and drag a message over from the main view to the folders (to drop it into a folder) it seems to "dissolve" when you reach the dividing bar between the folders and the main window the icon being dragged under the cursor stalls then just vanishes, meaning you can't drag and drop.

Sorry, I seemed to miss out that I was referring to Thunderbird.
