Bug Description

Binary package hint: mousetrap

Mousetrap is a great idea.

After using MouseTrap for about 15 or 20 seconds, the video display always freezes, and where ever my head was at that time, mousetrap fights my other mouse to keep the cursor where that last frozen frame had instructed it to.

I able to run other video capture programs like cheese without having the video freeze, so perhaps this a bug in mousetrap.

I agree, this is a great idea. Apart from the fact that I'm able to move my head horizontally, but not vertically?

I get the same bug.

When my head's position generates a coordinate that is out of range (out of the rectangle), the video
freezes instantly, the console talks about a LKPoint added and begins to complain about a corrupted jpeg every second.

DEBUG: ocvfw -> cmSetLKPoints: New LK Point Added
Corrupt JPEG data: 1 extraneous bytes before marker 0xd9
Corrupt JPEG data: 1 extraneous bytes before marker 0xd9
[etc]

If the representation of my head (the circle) remains inside the rectangle - which is impossible - it won't bug.

I didn't find which function would need to be patched.

Thank you
