editable accelerators option is activated and it works with xfce4-terminal, thunar and so on. Only with mousepad it doesn't

editing .config/Mousepad/accels.scm helps but still does not work pressing Backspace and assigning a new accelerator

This is functionality is no longer available after the switch to GTK3.
