Bug Description
This bug is in all versions.
People need to learn what means "Check of drives" (sorry for my English, I speak Italian) if they are not English. In the italian version of ubuntu, there is not a translation of this phrase and not an explanation of this function. A simply user that comes from windows or mac and see "Check of drives" for the first time (and maybe the other), he panic because this process occurs only sometimes when the computer is starting and the user does not understand what is happening. Furthermore the user may shut down the computer while it is checking drivers.
I suggest to translate "Check of drives" in other language and to add a very simply and short documentation of what is happening when there is a "Check of drives".
Sorry for my English!
