MonoDoc crashes with Stack overflow

Binary package hint: monodoc

On launch Monodoc loads slowly and then only draws an empty window, greyed out by Compiz. Running the command in the console tells why: it returns a very long exception of 247 lines, saying there was a Stack overflow.

The first lines of the stack trace:
 Stack overflow in unmanaged: IP: 0x7f7fe5755b2d, fault addr: 0x7fff60248db8
 Marshaling navigation-requested signal
 Exception in Gtk# callback delegate
   Note: Applications can use GLib.ExceptionManager.UnhandledException to handle the exception.
