Bug Description
Binary package hint: monit
After a plain vanilla install of Ubuntu 8.10 and monit and enabling the package I get this error when doing sudo monit
monit: Cannot find the control file at ~/.monitrc, /etc/monitrc, /etc/monitrc, /usr/local/
This happens because the default place for the config file is /etc/monit/monitrc and it doesn't look there anymore (it worked fine in Hardy and earlier). Instead it looks (twice!) for /etc/monitrc so the fix is a simple "sudo cp /etc/monit/monitrc /etc/monitrc"

This looks like at upstream bug:

A fix appears to have been released.... Is it possible for this fix to be implemented in the Ubuntu package?
