Bug Description

Binary package hint: mondo

Immediately after installing Mondo my 1TB hard drive went into a perpetual IO state. The light stayed on and after a half an hour I feared for its life. The command

iotop -d8 -o

showed the PostgreSQL stats gatering and a couple of flush processes were just hammering my disk.

I have uninstalled Mondo and everything which went with it.

I run KUbuntu

roland@roland-Generic-Desktop1:~/bin$ lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu 10.10
Release: 10.10
