Bug Description
[Availability]
The package is in the Ubuntu universe, and builds successfully on all architectures it is designed to work on (amd64).
[Rationale]
This package will be a new binary dependency for the ubiquity installer, and will be used to toggle UEFI kernel signature validation from the installer when a user needs to use DKMS packages (which are incompatible with enforced kernel signatures in UEFI). This feature will only be available when booted in UEFI with Secure Boot enabled on a system with Secure Boot support.
[Security]
No security advisories were found for this software.
[Quality assurance]
After installing the package, it is easy to use and well documented in the included online documentation (--help). There are no long-term outstanding bugs in Ubuntu or in Debian. The package is maintained well in Debian/Ubuntu, and requires very little effort to maintain.
[Dependencies]
All build and binary dependencies (including Recommends:) are satisfyable in main.
[Standards compliance]
The package meets the FHS and Debian Policy standards.
[Maintenance]
The package meets maintainability requirements.
[Background information]
This program provides the means to enroll and erase the machine owner
keys (MOK) stored in the database of shim.
Looks good, sure.
