ModemManager fails to connect using F5521gw

Bug Description
Using ModemManager and NetworkManager git version both from 2011-11-23. Distribution is Arch Linux.
When trying to start a connection to mobile broadband provider Telia (Sweden), a popup message from NetworManager shows "The network connection has been disconnected". Two unkown errors are shown in ModemManager's debug log:

I have been informed this is not the official place to report bugs about ModemManager. Since the report doesn't have anything to do with Ubuntu, I would remove this bug report if I could.
For anyone finding this bug, I found a partial solution to the problem. After I did a factory reset of the BIOS the modem started working again.
