My belief is that this would be fixed by the upstream commit: http://cgit.freedesktop.org/ModemManager/ModemManager/commit/?id=8f223f45f9e0c81fc9267b830c7c05b9aa731f2a

I'll backport this for Natty right away, but I'll need help to test that it indeed solves this particular crash even if I'm pretty confident, since I don't happen to own these devices.

It appears as though that commit didn't in fact fix it, since there was a bug reported with the package -2ubuntu1 which would contain that patch, I'll need to look into it some more.
