Bug Description

modemmanager reproducible crashes about 1-2 minute after inserting the UMTS USB dongle and selecting the corresponding UMTS service from the network icon. The crash seems to happen immediately after the connection is made and disconnected.

Rebooted the same machine into 12.04 LTS, and no problems there. So a problem in 12.10 / modemmanager 0.6.x?

On 12.10: Another UMTS dongle, with another SIM, work with problems (dmesg below). So it has to do with the dongle hardware / driver?
