Bug Description
Binary package hint: mnemosyne
I'm using Mnemosyne on Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS which I downloaded from the Software Center. As indicated on the author's website I divided my flashcards into categories according to subject. All the categories except one are text and they work fine. The last one is a language word pronunciation category where each of the cards has an embedded link to a .wav file which are all gathered under .mnemosyne/sounds, in total 83 files. When this category is being run there is a delay of about 1 or 2 seconds between pressing the grade button and the appearance of the following card. This delay doesn't happen in the other text categories where the transition to the next card is almost simultaneous with the pressing of the grade button for the one before it.
Initially I thought that there's a problem with the .wav format so I converted all the files to .ogg but got the exact same issue.
